Ricki L. Gottlieb, MD, FAAP
Dr. Gottlieb earned her medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and finished her clinical training at New York Medical College. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Gottlieb completed a four year residency program in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at Overlook Hospital.
In 1993 she and her husband, Dr. Guerra opened up a private practice together in New Providence, N.J. In 2001 they relocated their private practice to Randolph, N.J. Dr. Gottlieb spent five years as co- director of Health Start Clinic, an ambulatory clinic at Overlook Hospital. Her duties included seeing patients as well as supervising and teaching pediatrics residents from Columbia Presbyterian School of Medicine. Dr. Gottlieb has spent time working with overweight children and encouraging healthy eating habits.
She remains committed to fighting childhood obesity and incorporates this into her private practice. During her 13 years of practicing pediatrics she found herself drawn to behavioral and mental health issues pertaining to children. She spent a year at Fairleigh Dickinson University working toward her Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling. She remains devoted to helping children with specific behavioral issues.
When Dr. Gottlieb is not practicing Pediatrics she enjoys working out and staying fit, gardening, decorating and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Gottlieb resides in Randolph NJ with her husband Dr. Guerra.
